ethan goes bananas!

ethan has entered the world of real food... now that he is watching every move we make as we eat and is grabbing at food on our plate, we thought it was a good time to introduce solids. earlier this week, we gave him mashed up bananas mixed with a little liquid... he was hilarious! he would grab my hand holding the bowl, open his mouth, take everything on the spoon, swallow without spitting any out... and then he'd make the most sour face! as if i'd fed him sour pickles or lemons! and then he'd open his mouth for more. :) it was pretty cute. it was probably the texture of the goopy bananas that brought on that face... the next day, i put more liquid in with the bananas, and he enjoyed it much more. he laughed and giggled the whole time. here's some shots that nana (aka paparazzi) took from his first banana meal....
