ok, i have to introduce THE FUNNIEST woman that i wish i knew. she is a friend of a friend, and i am so glad i found her blog. it is simply delightful. if brian hears me laughing hysterically in front of my computer, he pretty much assumes that i'm reading boomama. and tonite i had some catching up to do, so i enjoyed 11 posts in one witty sitting! fun fun! i honestly have not read a single one of her posts without really letting out a good laugh. i only wish i could write like she does... i was planning on linking to some of my favorite posts, but there are just too many to even mention. ok, maybe i found a couple. so click on over to boomama's blog and enjoy.

more pictures of the kids are coming. but until then, boomama will keep you entertained.

i love ichat av!

well, we may be mac dorks, but we're dorks who get to see our friends hundreds of miles away with the fun invention of ichat av! eric just got a new apple laptop for work, and he came on with audio ichat tonite while kristi and i were instant messaging...and it was pretty much like talking on speaker phone... kristi and i agreed that we could just pick up the phone and talk much easier.... but THEN he asked if we could do video w/ my laptop... noooo, but go ahead and rub in the fact that you have an incredibly awesome new laptop in front of my husband, eric! :) brian would not be outdone, of course, so dundundunDUN!!!! he hooked up our digital camcorder to my laptop, and voila! there were kristi and i both in our pjs chatting as if we were sitting right beside each other! well, not exaaactly like that... the quality wasn't that great, but that's probably best for 2 pregnant women at 10:30 at night...haha. it was fun seeing her and eric, though. they gave us a tour of their bonus room-- it's done, and it's great! i can't wait to stay there next month. :) and we gave them a tour of our toy-infested living room... a familiar sight for them. :) by the time we really got it going, it was time for bed... so we didn't talk long. but we decided that we'll have to do that again soon with the kids. how fun! now i'll be able to see video of their sweet baby #3 in september! yay!!!! here's a screen shot of what the ichat av looked like... my heart is happy now that i've seen my long lost friend. :) another month seemed so long away.

my sweet mom was the 1,000th visitor... which is completely right and good since she probably visits my site the most often... even though she lives 3 minutes away from us! :) she said she wants her prize to be that she gets to keep ethan one night for us (which she already does so often), but ok!!! nobody here is complaining about a night out!! :) but mom, here's your other prize....

well, tenlittletoes is coming up on its 1,000th visitor.... granted, i realize that 974 different people have not visited this site... in reality, it's probably the same 15 people visiting me over and over and over.... however, i would like to congratulate the occasion of the 1,000th visit to this site in some way... not sure how. something free and easy. maybe a special post all about you? maybe an ethan video just for you? hmmm... i'll have to think. feel free to submit your ideas for the award since you probably have a 1:15 chance of being that special person!!!! :)
