daddy time

i love catching moments like this... ethan loves his daddy! he was on his back looking at our christmas tree lights, and brian started talking to him. ethan immediately rolled over to see what his daddy was saying. we pray that he's always this responsive to his father's voice! :) it's such a blessing to watch brian and ethan grow together as father and son. ethan already perks up when he hears brian come home from work-- i know he's got to be thinking, "good! somebody other than that crazy woman in my face!" :) during our family worship time a few weeks ago, ethan was fussy and ready for bed. as soon as brian started reading Psalm 1, ethan calmed down, turned, and listened to brian until he was finished reading. it will be such a blessing to watch their interactions together over the years. in a few years, i can see ethan wanting to follow brian out to the garage to see what he's working on... or sit with him at the computer while brian explains things that are way over my head... thank you, Lord, for both of my boys. :)
