two going on twenty

caroline is the girl of many faces. she has a mean face, a sad face, an excited face, a bashful face, and a "chubby chubby" face. as we were en route to our photo shoot, brian said, "i hope she can get caroline's faces." and she did! hope mabry photography perfectly captured how i want to forever remember caroline at two years old.

now brace yourself for caroline's mean face... (she really thinks she's scary!)


and this last one is my favorite. my heart sinks everytime i see this picture because i see this little girl growing up so quickly. there are so many things caroline can do on her own now... there is so much she can tell you about with such gusto. (and with such volume!) i can't help but still call her my baby girl, even though her baby days are long gone...


thank you, hope, for stopping this moment in time. in twenty years, i know i'll be even more thankful!
