almost edible

hope mabry photography. enough said. as i stated in my last post, her photography leaves me speechless. when she sent me the proofs of this photo shoot, she failed to warn me that i would need a tissue.

doesn't amelia look sweet in nana's big basket?! i had a hard time finding one big enough for my growing baby!

the next picture is my favorite of amelia. i love how her eyes stand out against the white. doesn't amelia look so quiet and peaceful?! i should keep this picture close at hand when she hits two years old! :)


here, amelia is snuggling with my granddaddy's's baby blanket. i bought her outfit just for this photo shoot--i love the contrast of the vintage with the bright white. and you know how i feel about babies in white.


and this next one? i could not have staged for a million dollars. but caroline loves her baby sister and could not wait to talk to her for one more minute. i jumped out of the way, and hope worked her magic.


on our way home from the photo shoot, i realized that i'd forgotten to ask hope to take a close up of amelia's feet. i was really bummed that i hadn't asked her to do that because pictures of baby feet are just... wonderful. so when i saw this next one in the proofs, i cried. hope read my mind! she's not just a great photographer, she's psychic! (juuuuust kidding!) don't you want to just eat these five little toes?!
