ethan braves the baby sprinkler

most of you know that ethan is not the most adventurous of boys... now he likes his boyish toys...his cars and his ba-ket-ball and his bulldozers... but he doesn't exactly branch out. so we were quite tickled with him the day he wanted to play in his sprinkler...AND GET HIS HAIR WET. as you can see, he went from washing the rubber duck...to getting his hair wet (because daddy suggested it, of course!)... to getting his entire face wet (and loving it!)... to surrounding himself with the sprinkler. we were doing yard work (yet another amazing feat around our household!), and we heard him say, "yook mommy! i'm IN!" he was so stinkin proud of himself. :)





(it looks like he tested things out by putting the balls in the middle, and when they survived, he figured it was safe! haha!)
