a day at the park
heather and i recently took the kids to the walking park to feed the ducks that are usually there... but when we arrived, we saw that the pond had very little water and no ducks! we were more disappointed than the kids were, of course... the boys were perfectly content to throw bread at the single bird in sight, even though the bird wanted nothing to do with our food offerings. the kids found the playground and enjoyed swinging and climbing. here's a few pictures from our relaxing morning at the park... i can't wait for it to cool off for awhile so we can visit the park more often!

hey elaine- the bubble machine is from my grandma... she got it on QVC, but i've also seen them at target or walmart... i think they are pretty standard these days. nobody wants to actually BLOW bubbles anymore!! haha. but it sure is fun.

What a great park... ducks or no ducks! I can't wait for things to cool down a little more so we can start enjoying outdoors again! Is it cooling down up there? If it's cooled down here, I haven't noticed... any level of hot is too hot for me! Love the bubble maker. Those are great photos of Ethan with the bubbles. You should blow one up really big and hang it on the wall in a play room!
