a day at the beach

before this blog gets flooded with pink, bows, sugar and spice and everything nice...i thought ethan should have one last weekend in the spotlight! we went out to the beach today with jeff, kristie, danny, rhema, nana, & pappy...WHAT a beautiful day! ethan loved walking in the sand this time around, and he especially enjoyed going up ("buh") and down ("da") the sand incline near the water. he also learned that sand doesn't taste very good! (you can see him doing his "yucky yucky" face in one of the close-ups.) yes, we took a million pictures- 248 to be exact. :) that's what digital photography is all about! some were of our family and friends, i will say, but most were of ethan. i narrowed them down to my 17 favorite ones. that's pretty good, don't you think?? brian actually took most of these, so i can't take the credit for his photography skills... and God made ethan, so i really can't take credit for how well these pictures turned out at all! and i won't apologize for posting too many pictures because, like i said, we started with 248 of them! i antiqued some shots just to spice it up a little...hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed today.
