welcome home, little laptop!

my computer is recovering from surgery. she is doing well and is glad to be home. i am quite impressed with the apple care people. we mailed my laptop off on saturday, after brian worked diligently to get every last little movie off my damaged hard drive... we expected surgery to take about 10 business days... WELL, on wednesday afternoon, the DHL guy knocks on my door with a box, and i couldn't believe it! i exclaimed, "it's back already?!" he said, "yep", when i'm sure he really wanted to say, "look, lady, i'm standing here with a box for you. i don't know what's in it, and frankly, i don't care. i hope it's something for you to wear since it's 3 pm and you're still in your pajamas."

when i looked at the papers inside, it tells me they only actually had the computer for 9 hours! they just popped in a new hard drive and sent her back home! wow. so all is well in laptop land here.
